Welcome to NJBA Online

We are the Trade Association for the Radio and TV Stations in the State of New Jersey.

We conduct educational seminars, conferences, broadcast training activities, federal rules and compliance procedures and are the New Jersey broadcasters voice at the Capitol both in Trenton and Washington. The organization was founded in 1946 by several major New Jersey radio stations and has since grown to Radio and TV stations in the state and many Radio and TV stations in neighboring New York City and Philadelphia.

The Broadcasters Foundation of America was established to help fellow broadcasters in need of special assistance. If you or a friend or colleague are in need of help, please click here.

For 2012 we have added new and informative training and technical assistance offerings for your use.

All Eyes (and Ears) on NJBA in Atlantic City Last Week!

Well, if you missed this year’s NJBA Annual Conference, you missed one for the record books! From the Opening Reception (sponsored by Frank Montero) to our Paramus Mitsubishi Car Give Away (Sponsored by TrafficCast and Cumulus) that wrapped up our Gala Show, each moment was master class and memorable. The NJBA celebrated all things broadcast with an all-star line up and presentations from start to finish. The industry trades regaled our association’s conference  and we could not be prouder of our great New Jersey broadcasters. Special thanks to our presenters, panelists sponsors, Convention Committee and especially Mary, Debbie, Schawn-Paul Aris, Billy, Travis and Isaac, and of course, our award winning Director, David Glazer and the entire team at Caesars!

Education and More

Educational Sessions covered a myriad of broadcast topics hosted by industry leaders like Radio Ink’s Debora Parenti, Sun Broadcast’s Jason Baily, KBA’s Derron Steinberger, Cumulus Media’s Gary Tacinelli, and Research Director’s Tyler Plahanski knocked it out of the park,  and the Radio Reporters Roundtable featuring Mayor Guardian was standing room only! NJBA President Paul Rotella addressed our Members with a “State of the Industry” report, as well. Read a text of his remarks attached.
